August was an unusual month, bringing with it downpours, humidity, dry spells and extreme heat indexes. We survived and are looking forward to a long, comfortable fall.
There is plenty of golf left; so don’t stop selling your club. We have fantastic pricing for golf, social and dining memberships.
Did anybody see the get-ups on Glen Fifarek and Mark Martin (alias Bob Marley & Peter Tosh) for the final round of member member, man they were jammin’ to a reggae beat. The event went off without a hitch; thanks to efforts of the entire OCC staff. We had a great showing with 28 teams.
I saw people playing who hadn’t golfed in this event in years; that membership support is nice to see.
With fall arriving and school starting, we are seeing the last days of the pool season. Thank you to Sharon and her staff for making this a great season and we will be seeing some of the pool employee’s helping us out up here at the clubhouse.

Clubhouse Specials
Level One House Wines ($5.75)
Emerald Bay Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot,
White Zinfandel. Cavit Pinot Noir,
and Cavit Pinot Grigio.
Level Two House Wines ($7.50)
These will be picked on a weekly basis during the month of April. This will allow us to use wines we are depleting from our wine list and pass the
savings on to you..
There will be a shortened version of the wine list which will reflect the tastes of the membership.
This will be changing frequently as I find new
and interesting items.
