HELLO OCC MEMBERS !
The 2013 golf season seems to be arriving a little on the slow side. Let me tell you what’s going on in the pro shop this year…….
You may know me as I have been in and around OCC my whole life. We are off to a new start this year showcasing a pro shop that has a different look and a lot of new styles. I have added a few new faces in and around the shop. Please help me welcome Anne as our new shop manager/assistant. Anne and I are excited about all the positive changes we are making and can hardly wait for the season to start!
We are spicing up the golf program here at OCC starting with the Junior Program. I am planning on splitting up the age groups with the older kids meeting on Tuesdays and the younger kids on Fridays. The Junior Program theme this year is “FUN”.
One of our main focuses this year will be on teaching. New to that arena is our V1 teaching software. We use a high speed camera that captures your swing in super slow motion. We then review and analyze your swing in the shop. The ability to visualize your swing will allow you to better understand what is going right or wrong, giving you more immediate results.
We will plan several ladies clinics, so watch the calendar. I look forward to meeting those of you I have not yet had the privilege of meeting and seeing familiar faces again. This will be the summer to remember!!
